Cloud Engineer Lead

Location: Onsite in Krakow, Poland

What you will do

• Create and configure Azure infrastructure components including storage, event hubs, AKS, Databricks, and databases across production and non-production environments.
• Review infrastructure configurations and scripts from development teams to ensure connectivity and compliance.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and role assignments.
• Monitor deployed services and design automation/orchestration solutions to accelerate development.
• Provide architectural feedback ensuring security and alignment with Dataworks environment standards.

Requirements

• Must be onsite in Krakow, Poland
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with leadership experience.
• Expertise in Azure services, Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong understanding of communication protocols and Azure networking services.
• Experience with microservice deployment using manifest files and HELM.
• English proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to have

• Experience building infrastructure in China.
• DBA experience and knowledge of global data challenges like replication and classification.
