What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Lead complex, multi-quarter projects from technical design through to final delivery.
• Mentor and coach other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and professional development guidance.
• Optimize app performance, accessibility, and localization to ensure a seamless traveler experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Advocate for and implement operational excellence through improved code quality, SLAs, and architectural resilience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software/mobile development experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Advanced experience with Jetpack components and Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of modern Android architecture patterns like MVVM, MVI, or MVP.
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end technical execution of long-term projects.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site in Austin, Texas.

• Prior experience in platform engineering and building scalable frameworks or tools.
• Experience leading communities of practice or knowledge-sharing groups.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies.
