Site Reliability Engineer (Production Engineering)

TL;DR

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes): Evolving and scaling a Kubernetes infrastructure consisting of ~2000 physical servers across 6 data centers and multiple regions with an accent on custom solutions and automation. Focus on programming and automating tasks, building reliable and scalable solutions on an on-premises infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid work with recommended office presence in Kaunas or Vilnius.

Salary: € 5,100 - € 9,150 gross per month.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, improve, and scale the Kubernetes platform, supporting over 40K running pods.
• Automate manual processes by writing code.
• Assist engineers in developing performant, secure, and scalable applications.
• Identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor and debug production problems to meet SLOs.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects and participate in an on-call rotation every ~9th week.

Requirements

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking.
• Programming experience, preferably in Go.
• A curious and responsible individual interested in learning and mastering new concepts and technologies.
• Interested in building non-standard, reliable, and scalable solutions on an on-premises infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
