What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Ensure fault-tolerant, scalable, and disaster recovery of cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads using Helm and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Chef.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid position based in Lisbon, Portugal
• 6+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• 5+ years expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.
• 5+ years experience with Linux system administration.
• 3+ years experience with AWS container services (ECS, EKS, Fargate) and container tools (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Ruby.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications such as SysOps Admin or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
