TL;DR

Linux Engineer: Maintaining and improving critical infrastructure and production trading systems with an accent on Linux system internals, automation, and real-time production issue resolution. Focus on debugging kernel performance, developing management tools, and scalable configuration management.

What you will do

Maintain and improve the platform powering production trading systems.
Debug kernel performance and resolve production issues in real time.
Develop deployment automation and scalable configuration management tools.
Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations teams across the company.
Perform root-cause analyses and integrate long-term fixes.

Requirements

Fluency in English required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Deep knowledge of Linux and Unix internals.
Experience with shell scripting and Unix command line.
Practical experience with systems programming concepts including C, sockets, virtual memory, and process life cycle.
Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of profiling/debugging tools such as gdb, perf, DTrace, eBPF, or SystemTap.
