What you will do

• Investigate, reconstruct, and reverse engineer malicious artifacts.
• Document analysis results as intelligence reports.
• (If Cloud Mission) Maintain detailed understanding of cloud intrusions by analyzing activity logs (AWS CloudTrail, Azure Activity Logs).
• (If Mobile Mission) Create tools to automate analysis tasks and track threat actors.
• Contribute to active mitigation efforts with technical expertise.
• Track relations between new threats and existing actors using in-house tools.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a university, studying Computer Science, Cyber Security or related Masters degree (2027 graduate).
• Must be able to work remotely from the United Kingdom or Germany.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) as a user OR Malware-analysis/reverse-engineering principles (depending on mission).
• Strong problem-solving skills and an investigative mindset.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, especially Python.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of identity and access management for major cloud providers.
• Familiarity with cloud activity logs (CloudTrail, Azure Activity logs, GCP Audit Logs).
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms and dynamic instrumentation frameworks.
• Experience with tools like IDA, Ghidra, JEB, WinDbg, x86dbg/x64dbg, Parallels, Virtual Box.
