• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic customer projects.
• Build and present reference architectures and demonstrate applications for customers.
• Promote open-source projects across developer communities.
• Travel to meet with customers in your territory.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficient in programming with Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience with Financial Services customers is a positive differentiator.
• Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering or mathematics.
