What you will do

• Report into the Engineering Manager in the Security Engineering team.
• Lead the development of solutions to improve security of cloud-based technology infrastructure.
• Chart the technical direction of the team and support team members.
• Collaborate with platform, product engineering, and security operations teams.
• Help solve complex technical problems and analyze trade-offs.
• Evaluate open-source and third-party commercial solutions.

Requirements

• Experience designing solutions with cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Go and/or Python).
• Strong commitment to quality throughout the SDLC.
• Excited to continuously learn and mentor team members.

Nice to have

• Prior knowledge or interest in information security.
• Experience with distributed services running in production.
