What you will do

• Write and refine scripts to process and analyze large datasets, exploring data in new ways.
• Conceive, implement, and test statistical models.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical tools.
• Interface and collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and experimental experts at the Broad and with external partners.
• Troubleshoot with mentor support to resolve problems and ensure data quality control.
• Participate in lab meetings, contribute to team discussions, support research goals, and potentially contribute to publications.

Requirements

• Must be a current undergraduate senior with an expected graduation date of ~Dec. 2025 or ~May 2026.
• Majored in computational biology, mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a similar field.
• Must have at least 1 year of undergraduate independent research experience (outside of coursework).
• Strong programming skills and experience with programming languages, preferably Python or R.
• Must commit to staying with the Broad for at least two years.
