What you will do
- Participate in stakeholder walkthroughs, assess control design, test controls, and document audit results.
- Assess risks, mitigating controls, and potential findings related to digital asset activities.
- Develop expertise in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, global regulations, and distributed ledger infrastructure.
- Contribute to the Internal Audit Digital Assets coverage strategy and prepare practical audit conclusions.
- Present findings to senior management and business stakeholders and track the resolution of open audit issues.
- Support audit colleagues covering traditional finance-related activities with digital asset expertise.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, technology, or a related function.
- Significant direct experience with blockchain technology and digital assets, plus a foundational understanding of blockchain architecture in financial services.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, system architecture, databases, operating systems, and messaging concepts.
- Ability to articulate risks and identify potential failure points in blockchain products and system architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline.
Nice to have
- Hands-on blockchain experience in product design, trading and derivatives, or other financial applications.
- Experience reviewing code or exposure to Solidity, DAML, Python, Go, or Rust.
