What you will do

• Improve the scalability and reliability of core data systems.
• Define and evolve how resource data is modeled, stored, and queried across hirify.global.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to understand user needs and prioritize work.
• Ship quickly and experiment thoughtfully to validate ideas and drive product velocity.
• Set an example for effective, collaborative engineering and help mentor junior team members.
• Drive initiatives to increase operational posture and execution quality across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience.
• Be comfortable operating robust distributed systems and navigating scaling challenges; familiarity with event-driven architecture is required.
• Care deeply about understanding and solving customer problems.
• Work well in environments that value decisive action and getting things done.
• Have led meaningful technical projects from concept to completion.
• Must be able to hire in Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia.
