Location: Remote in the United States or Canada
Salary: $170K–$290K annually plus equity

is building a developer-first cloud platform for AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications with persistent compute, autoscaling, orchestration, and observability.
What you will do
- Build, operate, and improve usage-based billing systems.
- Integrate and maintain third-party billing platforms such as Orb, Metronome, and similar systems.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Customer Experience teams on accurate billing and reporting.
- Work with large-scale databases and data pipelines to capture, transform, and reconcile usage data.
- Monitor and improve billing reliability and performance while contributing to platform architecture.
- Develop billing operations processes, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building or operating usage-based billing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Orb, Metronome, Stripe, or similar billing platforms.
- Strong expertise in Go and production-grade SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Customer Experience, and Product teams.
- Detail-oriented ownership of mission-critical systems, with pragmatic problem-solving skills.
- Applicants must be located in the United States or Canada. The position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship; existing visa transfers may be sponsored at 's discretion with business authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scaling environment.
- Familiarity with financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Background in distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
- Willingness to mentor others and help scale engineering culture.
