What you will do

• Lead the sustaining team in collaboration with Quality, Product, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support product failure investigations and guide design reviews.
• Mentor the team through design iterations from prototypes to manufacturing-ready models.
• Ensure proper implementation of CAD drawings into the PLM system.
• Work with suppliers to improve designs and initiate process changes.
• Help develop and execute tests to prove performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design or sustaining engineering.
• Ability to mentor and grow a team of engineers.
• Skilled SOLIDWORKS user with experience in large assemblies.
• Experience designing for various manufacturing processes.
• Strong hands-on skills for building and testing prototypes.
• Ability to be in the office 3+ days per week.
