Lead/Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Lead/Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Developing customer-facing products to improve the lives of people and pets with an accent on creating a safe environment for the community. Focus on solving new problems by applying analytical thinking.

Location: Hybrid (Mondays & Thursdays in our office in Poblenou in Barcelona). Applicants must currently have the right to live and work in Spain....We can help with relocation assistance, though!

What you will do

• Foster a safe environment for the community.
• Improve customer-facing products to enhance the lives of people and pets.
• Collaborate with others to determine project requirements and drive projects forward.
• Share knowledge and foster a culture of learning.
• Provide mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer.
• Long-term experience with frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJs or React Native.
• Experience with Python or another backend language.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and schema design.
• Passionate about automated testing, code quality, and general software engineering best practices.
• Good level of written and spoken English (engineering team is in Barcelona, but we work in English).

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Django and other Python-based frameworks.
• Knowledge/Interest in React Native.
• Familiar with continuous integration/deployment tools.
