What you will do

• Own end-to-end architecture of hirify.global Data Platform supporting internal and customer-facing analytics.
• Lead solution architecture for data ingestion, transformation, governance, and delivery across batch, streaming, and near-real-time scenarios.
• Serve as technical authority on Snowflake and its advanced features.
• Advise on data modeling, access policies, and query optimization to enable faster analytics and resilient pipelines.
• Establish best practices for cost monitoring, performance tuning, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide mentorship to staff and senior engineers, fostering technical rigor and collaboration.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years experience in large-scale data engineering or analytics infrastructure, including 3+ years at principal or staff-level architecture.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake and cloud-scale OLAP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of OLAP warehousing concepts, data modeling strategies, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines.
• Fluency in SQL and data engineering languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with compliance, privacy, and data lifecycle management in cloud platforms.
• Ability to influence and communicate complex architecture across diverse stakeholders.
• Location requirement: must be based in the United States (remote within specified states).

Nice to have

• Experience migrating or evolving enterprise-scale data platforms to cloud-native OLAP solutions like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
• Prior experience with customer-facing analytics products and platform integration challenges.
