Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Foster City, CA or Boston, MA

Salary: $242,000 - $290,000 a year

What you will do

• Train ML models and incorporate SOTA approaches, including ablations/modifications of existing models.
• Document experimental outcomes and drive the deployment of models into Zoox robots.
• Visualize data at the input and output to understand potential issues.
• Collaborate with teams such as ML optimization, data labeling, metrics, and planners to ensure project success.

Requirements

• MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with PyTorch or related ML frameworks.
• Experience deploying learned models into production.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with a proven track record of working on large-scale problems.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the AV or related space with joint detection and tracking models.
• Deep understanding of how to set up end-to-end training and evaluation processes.
