TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Cybersecurity): Developing full stack features for cybersecurity compliance solutions with an accent on integrating frontend and backend aspects. Focus on mentoring junior engineers and engaging in all phases of the project lifecycle.

Location: Fully remote position for candidates ideally residing in Canada

What you'll do

Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Engineering stakeholders to maintain high quality standards.
Develop full stack features addressing complex technical challenges.
Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, including code reviews and performance optimization.
Mentor junior and intermediate engineers.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java).
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

Experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
Background in startup environments.
