Enterprise & Solutions Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid work from the Arlington, VA office; U.S. citizenship required.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year

hirify.global supports the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Technical Engineering and Support Services program within the DHS/CISA Cybersecurity Division.

What you will do

• Document current-state architectures, data flows, operational workflows, platforms, tools, and integrations.
• Define future-state enterprise and solution architectures aligned with CIRCIA requirements, business capabilities, and CISA OCIO technology strategies.
• Develop architecture documentation, roadmaps, high-level and detailed designs, API specifications, technical standards, design guardrails, and architectural decision records.
• Design integration strategies and reusable patterns for internal and external systems supporting scalability and interoperability.
• Represent architecture decisions in governance and review forums and collaborate with program management, OCIO stakeholders, engineering teams, and executives.
• Evaluate technology options and advise on cost, scalability, interoperability, operational impact, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise or solutions architecture, ideally in a government or regulated environment.
• Experience documenting current- and future-state architectures, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to present architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
