Intern - Data Science Modelling

Location: Krakow, Poland. Hybrid work policy with both office and remote work.

What you will do

• Support data preparation and analysis.
• Contribute to documentation and process mapping.
• Support the ideation, development, and evaluation of statistical and machine learning models.
• Contribute to forecasting and decision-optimization activities.
• Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Write clean, version-controlled code and documentation in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or another related quantitative field.
• Solid foundations in statistics, probability theory, and machine learning fundamentals.
• Practical exposure to Python.
• Strong quantitative mindset and interest in statistical, mathematical, or modelling problems.
• Ability to identify essential information in complex subjects and communicate it clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical rigour.
• Enjoys collaborative work and discussing ideas with others.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
