Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid 4/1 model with 30 days of occasional remote work

Salary: PLN 14,600–20,825 per month under an employment contract, depending on skills; annual performance and company-results bonus.

What you will do

• Lead machine learning projects from concept through productization to solve business problems across different areas.
• Apply gradient boosting, Bayesian frameworks, causal inference, optimization, deep learning, Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
• Process terabytes of tabular, natural-language, image, and time-series data using Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement and maintain offline and online machine learning models and stable, high-performance services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics, and data engineering teams to frame problems and deliver insights.
• Contribute to peer mentoring, brainstorming, and open knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Production experience in data analysis with SQL and in designing, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end machine learning models.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into well-defined machine learning problems.
• Strong communication skills for framing analytical questions and presenting findings clearly to business units.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with standard development workflows and tooling.
• Strong understanding of statistics, mathematics, and core machine learning algorithms.
• Practical and theoretical understanding of Generative AI and agentic AI workflows, including prompting and validation, plus willingness to use AI-assisted coding tools.
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on Data Science and ML experience.
• Fluency in Polish and English, with English at minimum B2 level.
