Project Manager (Life Sciences Translation)

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of Language Services translation and localization projects from initiation through delivery and post-project review.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, quality expectations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate clients, internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external language vendors.
• Monitor project performance, financials, forecasting, invoicing support, profitability, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Identify risks, scope changes, and operational issues, implementing mitigation and corrective-action plans.
• Support quality investigations, CAPA, RCA/5 Whys, process improvement, automation, workflow initiatives, and mentoring of junior project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Languages, Translation, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in translation, localization, language services, or clinical research, including life sciences content for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or clinical research organisations.
• Strong project planning, financial management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Experience supporting quality investigations, CAPA activities, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in CAT tools, translation management systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Native, professional, or advanced Simplified Chinese and fluent English communication skills required.
• Commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10%, when required.
