Embedded Systems Development Engineer (Acoustics)

What you will do

• Develop low-level firmware, bootloaders, device drivers, high-speed data acquisition and storage, and communication interfaces using SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, integration, and verification throughout the embedded product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, mechanical, and system engineers to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Plan and execute testing, qualification, and validation activities.
• Support production introduction, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and obsolescence management.
• Contribute to technology development, product innovation, and improved engineering tools, processes, and practices.

Requirements

• Relevant master's degree in embedded systems engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems development, including microcontroller-based hardware and firmware design, debugging, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++ and SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of 32-bit microcontrollers such as STM32, NXP, or TI, high-speed data flows, DMA, Flash memory technologies, and RTOS.
• Experience with analogue and digital electronics, EMC considerations, product verification, and qualification.
• Ability to work systematically and independently, take ownership of technical challenges and deliverables, and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
