Facility Manager (Data Centre)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations at the Sydney S4 data centre.
• Lead facility staff and contractors and oversee maintenance activities.
• Support customers and ensure quality delivery of hirify.global and contracting services.
• Oversee data centre infrastructure, building services, connectivity, and operational systems.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of data centres, including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design, and installation.
• Understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches, and technologies.
• Experience with telecommunications, connectivity, cabling, cable management, and quality inspection or assurance.
• Knowledge of building services, including structural systems, DRUPS/UPS, HV/LV switchgear, electrical design, generators, security systems, HVAC, fire systems, EMS, and BMS.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
• Experience managing and leading facilities staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow, and computer-based building service systems and platforms.
• Exceptional planning, organising, analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-first attitude.
• Experience in a 24/7 critical facility is welcomed.
