Business Analyst (Aviation)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; in-office or hybrid

Salary: 1,600–2,500 GBP gross per month, depending on role fit and experience level.

What you will do

• Understand customer needs, business problems, and operational processes.
• Gather, clarify, and challenge requirements with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with Product and Engineering throughout development and release.
• Validate that delivered solutions solve the intended problems.
• Improve Business Analysis practices and ways of working, including through AI tools.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a software or product environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian.
• Ability to turn ambiguous information into clear, structured requirements.
• Comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of software products, workflows, integrations, and system behaviour.
• Comfort using AI tools to research, analyse, structure information, or improve daily work.
• Ability to work independently, challenge assumptions, and take ownership.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex operational software, integrations, or data-driven products.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Experience in aviation, airport operations, or a similar complex industry.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Business Analysis certification.
• Proficiency in Spanish, French, and/or German.
