Business Analysis Manager (Aviation Software)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; in-office or hybrid work

Salary: £2,500–£3,500 gross/month, depending on role fit and experience level

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, develop, and support the hiring and career growth of the Business Analyst community.
• Own and improve Business Analysis standards, frameworks, templates, discovery, requirements, documentation, prioritisation, and handovers.
• Increase consistency, quality, and efficiency across Product teams without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and company leadership on strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate complex business problems into clear, structured solutions and drive meaningful improvements.
• Explore and introduce AI-assisted ways of working where they improve quality or efficiency.

Requirements

• Several years of Business Analyst experience in a software, SaaS, or product organisation.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing Business Analysts or similar professionals.
• Experience improving Business Analysis processes, standards, or ways of working.
• Strong understanding of product development and Agile ways of working.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities, including the ability to turn complex problems into clear, practical approaches.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management.
• Experience building or leading a Business Analysis Community of Practice.
• Experience using AI to improve Business Analysis or Product Development workflows.
• Experience in aviation, enterprise software, or other operationally complex industries.
