Webcast Producer (Contract Talent)

Location: Hybrid/remote role associated with San Ramon, California, United States.

Hourly pay: $32.69–$48.08, negotiable based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, and execute live, virtual, and hybrid meetings and events, including locations, crew, equipment, transportation, and power requirements.
• Work with clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, Corporate Communications, IT, and administrative staff to define communication and training needs and present technology options.
• Operate cameras, audio mixers, video switchers, playback and recording systems, encoders, PTZ cameras, and webcast platforms.
• Edit recorded programs, organize media, add graphics, animation, titles, music, voice-over, and sound effects, and prepare web-delivery files.
• Create still and motion graphics packages using Adobe tools for live webcasts.
• Diagnose technical issues, support end users, and maintain collaborative production workflows aligned with brand and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in live events, broadcasting, and AV media support.
• Experience operating analog and digital audio mixers, routing signals, using microphones, and applying EQ, compression, and delay processing.
• Understanding of live production in both in-person and virtual environments.
• Experience setting up and operating video cameras, microphones, playback and recording devices, and multi-input shows.
• Working knowledge of signal paths, cable management, HDMI, HD-SDI, Ethernet, USB, signal converters, and distribution amplifiers.
• Experience with Barco S3, Blackmagic Design routers and processors, AJA recording decks, and Panasonic PTZ cameras.
• Experience streaming audio and video across different platforms and exporting content for web delivery.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Audition, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint, with efficiency in Mac and Windows environments.
