Senior IT Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $110,539.52–$138,174.40 annually

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and implement technical controls to prevent, detect, contain, and respond to information security threats.
• Analyze threats using email filtering, anti-malware, access control, phishing detection, CASB/web filtering, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, data loss prevention, and encryption technologies.
• Review and guide security configurations for applications and endpoints, including servers, desktops, network devices, and IoT/OT devices.
• Lead security projects and project teams across the security department and other business units.
• Monitor current and emerging threats, recommend technical and process improvements, and support the information security strategy.
• Ensure security controls across technology and business units align with information security policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive IT security experience, including 3 years in a lead role responsible for architecture design and implementation.
• Direct hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity with demonstrated technical proficiency.
• Active information security credential required, such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC/SANS, Palo Alto PCNSE, CyberArk CDE, SailPoint Certified Engineer, Microsoft Security Associate, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security/XDR Specialist.
