Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Enterprise Security Engineering

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA, or Dublin, Ireland. Flex work requires spending at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners, depending on the role.

Base salary for the Ireland location: €84,000–€126,000 annually. The role may also include a bonus or commission plan and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Support endpoint least-privilege policies, publisher allow-listing, application governance, and complex exception reviews across macOS and Windows fleets.
• Monitor EDR sensor health, tune detections, and build automated detection and containment workflows for complex endpoint telemetry.
• Maintain SSPM policy baselines, investigate SaaS configuration drift, privileged-account anomalies, and integration risks.
• Drive CAASM asset governance, device coverage validation, security-control gap identification, dashboards, queries, and correlation alerts.
• Implement runtime guardrails and least-privilege boundaries for developer AI tools, coding assistants, IDE integrations, and open-source dependencies.
• Build API-driven automation pipelines and mentor engineers through scripting, detection engineering, incident triage, runbooks, and architecture documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience in enterprise environments, with demonstrated senior-level technical delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least one recognized credential such as CISSP, a GIAC certification, CompTIA Security+, or an equivalent vendor-recognized credential.
• Hands-on experience engineering, administering, or deploying enterprise tooling in at least two of these areas: EDR, SSPM, CAASM, or EPM/Application Control.
• Working knowledge of macOS and Windows internals, execution controls, enterprise scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go, and REST APIs.
• Experience with attack surface analysis, security engineering, security platforms, threat and vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, and security policy implementation.
• Ability to design, write, test, and debug automation and API integrations; manage multiple priorities; and communicate complex security telemetry to cross-functional partners.
• Interest and ability to mentor and develop fellow engineers.
