Contract QHSE Auditor (ISO)

Location: Amman, Jordan; customer visits across Jordan and overseas travel if required

What you will do

• Conduct business assurance assessments within the authorised area of specialism according to procedures and agreed timescales.
• Lead assessment teams, coordinate findings, and reach assessment conclusions.
• Prepare high-quality reports compliant with business assurance principles, accreditation requirements, and internal procedures.
• Keep internal stakeholders informed, escalate issues, and communicate client feedback and sales opportunities.
• Maintain professional competence through CPD records, updated CVs, professional registrations, and competence records.
• Build client and internal relationships and participate in assessor meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent.
• Passed an IRCA-registered or equivalent Lead Auditor training course recognised by hirify.global in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Previous experience with a recognised accredited certification body in management system certification.
• At least four years of full-time practical experience across industrial sectors in quality, health, safety, and environment.
• English communication skills required for effective verbal and written communication.
• Good understanding of the sector’s legal and regulatory framework, including local laws.
• Willingness to travel overseas if required.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Arabic speaking and writing knowledge.
• Competence to audit additional ISO products, such as food safety, IT, business continuity, energy, or asset management.
• Own business sponsorship to work as a contract auditor.
