Senior Mobile Developer (Android)

What you will do

• Own significant parts of the Android architecture and build scalable, maintainable, high-performing solutions.
• Lead the design and development of complex features across the hirify.global app ecosystem.
• Contribute to the Backend-For-Frontend application used by hirify.global's mobile apps.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams on solutions and technical trade-offs.
• Contribute to technology, tooling, and framework decisions.
• Champion code quality through reviews, automated testing, engineering standards, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Track record of delivering production-grade Android apps to the Google Play Store, including experience scaling apps and handling complex architectures.
• Strong experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the Android ecosystem, including modern frameworks, libraries, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Backend-For-Frontend systems.
• Knowledge of coding, testing, and app-performance best practices.
• Experience working in agile teams, strong problem-solving skills, proactive ownership from conception to delivery, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Passion for building high-quality Android experiences that improve people's lives and strong attention to code quality and user experience.
