Master's Thesis: System Simulator for Data Collection (Wireless Communications)

Location: Lund, Sweden. The thesis is intended for master's students available to start in spring 2027.

What you will do

• Extend the internal HIL (Hardware in the Loop) environment from link-level to system-level simulation.
• Develop a simulated environment for collecting data without leaving the office.
• Capture system behavior, including mobility between cells.
• Integrate the system-level simulation with simulated and emulated mobile phones.
• Support efficient data collection for machine-learning applications.

Requirements

• Master's student in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong command of English, spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Software development experience.
• Experience with wireless communication and networks.
• Experience with data collection for machine-learning training.
