What you will do

• Analyze and map oligonucleotide synthesis workflows, including solid-phase synthesis, purification, and analysis.
• Generate solid-phase lead candidates for oligonucleotide synthesis applications.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments to optimize reaction conditions.
• Apply statistical tools such as design of experiments and multivariate analysis for process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document and present findings in written and oral formats.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Enjoys organic chemistry work in a laboratory and is suited to lab-scale chemistry activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• English and Swedish are working languages.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with oligo synthesizers such as ÄKTA, HPLC, LC-MS, or UV spectroscopy.
