QA Engineer-Sport (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid in Málaga, Spain; two days per week working from home

What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for backend and frontend components.
• Identify automation opportunities across sports data flows and contribute to implementation.
• Support automated service, API, and UI tests and execute manual and automated tests throughout development.
• Collaborate with developers and QA specialists to define testing scope and ensure adequate coverage.
• Report, track, and verify defects while communicating risks and findings to stakeholders.
• Improve testing processes, reliability, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Experience with backend test automation using Java.
• Practical experience with automated API testing, REST APIs, and a basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as TestRail or similar.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software development practices.
• Proactive, collaborative, and curious approach to understanding the product domain.

Nice to have

• Frontend testing experience, including UI automation using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, or event-driven systems such as Kafka.
• ISTQB certification.
• Interest in or experience with the iGaming domain.
