What you will do

• Work as an embedded QA Automation Engineer in an Agile team and drive software quality across the team.
• Design test cases, ensure coverage of requirements and acceptance criteria, and execute and document tests in an audit-proven manner.
• Identify and automate test cases using Playwright with TypeScript at the UI and API levels.
• Perform manual testing when needed, including periods when manual testing is the primary responsibility.
• Create and organize test data, maintain regression test cases, and manage defects.
• Provide guidance on development testing and quality-related topics to improve testing throughput and reduce testing effort.

Requirements

• 5+ years of general test automation experience covering UI and API testing.
• Mandatory experience working in an Agile team; experience in a DevOps setup is a strong plus.
• Experience leading or supporting testing initiatives across an Agile team, from development through acceptance testing.
• Strong test case design experience, including coverage of requirements and acceptance criteria, and experience with risk-based testing.
• Experience performing manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility.
• Ability to independently explore databases to find relevant test data.
• Good Jira knowledge; basic XRAY knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and write some Java or C# code when needed.
• Excellent English command at C1/C2 level.
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Accurate, reliable, proactive, motivated, resilient, flexible, and committed to project quality; able to collaborate on complex problems.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish.
• Cloud technology experience, web application architecture knowledge, and banking domain knowledge related to Client Lifecycle Management.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
