Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Work as an embedded QA Automation Engineer in an Agile team and drive software quality across the team.
• Design test cases to ensure coverage of requirements and acceptance criteria, including risk-based testing.
• Identify and automate suitable UI and API test cases with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Perform manual testing when required, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility.
• Create and organize test data, maintain regression test cases, and execute and document tests in an audit-proven manner.
• Coordinate test activities by quality, deadlines, and costs; manage defects and support testing from development through acceptance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of general test automation experience covering UI and API testing.
• Mandatory experience working in an Agile team; DevOps experience is a strong plus.
• Experience leading or supporting testing initiatives from development through acceptance testing.
• Strong experience in test case design, requirements and acceptance-criteria coverage, and risk-based testing.
• Experience performing manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility.
• Ability to explore databases independently to find relevant test data.
• Good Jira knowledge; basic XRAY knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and write some code in Java or C# when needed.
• Excellent English command at C1/C2 level and a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Accurate, reliable, proactive, resilient, motivated, flexible, and comfortable solving complex problems collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Cloud technologies experience, knowledge of web application architecture, and banking-domain knowledge related to Client Lifecycle Management.
• Fluent Spanish.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
