Internship in IT - Cybersecurity

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid arrangement with remote work on Fridays

What you will do

• Assist with designing and assessing technology solutions and information security policies.
• Support governance, risk and compliance processes, third-party risk assessments, and cybersecurity strategy development.
• Analyze DLP logs and alerts, investigate suspicious network activity, and implement corrective measures.
• Configure vulnerability scans, identify potential vulnerabilities, and prepare vulnerability analysis reports.
• Monitor networks and endpoints, investigate SOC-assessed alerts, and help determine threats, impact, and mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with network security, development, systems architecture, and other IT teams on data protection, secure procedures, awareness programs, and security metrics.

Requirements

• Currently studying Telecommunications Engineering or Information Technology.
• Curiosity about IT and technology.
• Proficiency in English required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Motivation and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and adaptability skills.
• Team-oriented mindset, responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to quality work.
