Cybersecurity Principal

Location: Onsite at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts, United States

What you will do

• Support implementation of the Risk Management Framework and perform ISSM/ISSO duties for assigned systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain information systems security programs, policies, plans, repositories, and compliance documentation.
• Lead or support assessment and authorization activities, including reviewing A&A artifacts and maintaining authorization status in applicable systems.
• Monitor cybersecurity compliance, inspections, tests, vulnerabilities, incidents, data spills, and required reporting to Authorizing Officials and affected stakeholders.
• Provide technical cybersecurity direction to ISSOs, coordinate with security managers and information owners, and oversee system-level security procedures.
• Ensure secure configuration, software assurance, PKI-supported capabilities, and compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance that can be maintained.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field plus at least 20 years of relevant experience, including 12 years in the DoD; OR a Bachelor’s degree plus 25 years of relevant experience, including 15 years in the DoD; OR 30 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 20 years in the DoD.
• DoDD 8140-compliant IAM Level III certification, such as GIAC, Security Leadership Certification, CISM, or CISSP.
• Knowledge of DoD and Air Force cybersecurity, certification and accreditation, RMF, information security, classified-information protection, and CUI requirements.
• Ability to maintain current technical and/or management certifications required by DoD 8140, DoD 8570.01-M, and applicable Air Force guidance.
• Ability to support PKI capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification, and authentication.
• Ability to ensure application security compliance, including source-code scanning for SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and buffer-overflow vulnerabilities.
• All cybersecurity labor must remain certified in accordance with DoDD 8140 standards throughout the contract performance period.
