Control and Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Develop system architectures, designs, detailed specifications, and functional and non-functional requirements based on client needs.
• Integrate subsystems and components into cohesive systems, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Execute system testing and validation against design specifications and performance criteria.
• Prepare technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and operator manuals.
• Support commissioning at client sites, procurement activities, and the manufacture, assembly, and testing of bespoke systems.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, workshop, project management, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with a relevant qualification, or 4 years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent role.
• Good understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of software packages relevant to systems engineering, including SCADA, PLC, and HMI packages.
• Familiarity and experience with system integration processes, tools, and technologies.
• Basic understanding of industry and company quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
• Good verbal, written, and presentation skills for collaboration and client interaction.
• Basic knowledge of client-specific and international standards.
