Network Specialist

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, internet connectivity, and remote access infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Configure routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, network access controls, Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, IPSec, and SSL VPN solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, utilization, and capacity; troubleshoot incidents, connectivity issues, and bottlenecks through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Manage upgrades, hardware refreshes, modernization, high-availability architectures, redundancy, vulnerability remediation, patching, and network hardening.
• Maintain documentation and topology diagrams, coordinate with security teams, service providers, telecommunications providers, vendors, and support critical incidents and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or a comparable technical role, including enterprise infrastructure and mission-critical connectivity services.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei, or equivalent vendors.
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise firewalls, VPN technologies, and network security solutions, including Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
• Experience managing LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, internet edge, and remote access environments, including IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Remote Access VPN.
• Understanding of network security principles, segmentation, Zero Trust concepts, intrusion prevention, and access management.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud connectivity with AWS, Azure, and/or Alibaba Cloud.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience in automotive, R&D, or complex multi-site enterprise environments.
• Network automation experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, network performance management, ITIL-based service management, and incident, problem, and change processes.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability design.
• Ability to communicate technical risks and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, written and/or spoken.
