Integration Specialist / Integration Developer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain integrations in HR Hub, which is built on PostgreSQL.
• Build Web-API, web service, and file-based integrations connecting SAP SuccessFactors and other source systems with payroll, time management, benefits, expense management, and analytics applications.
• Implement source-to-target mappings, data transformations, validations, filtering, routing logic, and reference data handling.
• Analyze interfaces, data flows, system dependencies, defects, and production issues; implement corrections and technical improvements.
• Apply secure development practices for sensitive employee and organizational data, including access controls, secure transfers, error handling, monitoring, and operational reliability.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with developers, architects, service managers, HR experts, payroll specialists, system owners, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in hands-on integration development or a similar technical development role.
• Strong practical PostgreSQL and SQL development experience, including writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL-based solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise integrations using Web-APIs, web services, and file-based interfaces such as SFTP.
• Understanding of integration architecture and technical design, with the ability to translate business and functional requirements into maintainable solutions.
• Experience with JSON, XML, data mapping, transformations, validations, filtering, business rules, integration testing, defect analysis, debugging, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of secure integration development, data protection, access controls, error handling, and operational monitoring.
• Ability to independently drive technical tasks while collaborating with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Additional education or certifications in integration technologies, database development, cloud technologies, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience with SQL-based integration platforms, integration middleware, or comparable in-house solutions.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or HR master data integrations.
• Experience integrating SD Worx Payroll, Worklinq, Benifex, Snowflake, or comparable HR-related applications.
• Understanding of HR and payroll data structures, employee lifecycle processes, and organizational data dependencies.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or Groovy.
• Experience with agile development, version control, and collaborative software development practices.
• Swedish language skills for collaboration with Swedish business stakeholders.
