Mortgage Loan Advisor

Location: Monroe, LA; office-based role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Originate 1–4 family residential mortgage loans and work toward established mortgage production goals.
• Develop internal and external referral sources through training, coaching, marketing, and relationship-building activities.
• Manage the mortgage pipeline with the Senior Loan Officer, Sales Manager, and operations team to meet closing expectations.
• Maintain file quality and accuracy while providing customer service throughout the loan process.
• Cross-sell other bank products and participate in internal OCR activities to grow customer relationships.
• Follow all regulatory, quality, and training requirements for mortgage origination and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NMLS Certification.
• At least 6 months of related experience in the financial services industry.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; Huntington does not sponsor immigration benefits or work permission.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or 12–24 months of financial or sales-related experience.
• Experience working in or with a retail banking office.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
