Visual Content Wide View 3D Modeler (3D Modeling)

What you will do

• Assist with the design, development, and implementation of modeled assets in a collaborative environment.
• Create and maintain 3D model databases and textures for 3D databases and models.
• Maintain process documentation for content creation workflows in a shared knowledge repository.
• Document work in progress and completed work, and provide feedback on task progression.
• Support automation where possible and deliver assignments within agreed budgets and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field, or 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing models.
• Work portfolio link provided with the application.
• Knowledge of modeling requirements in an integrated gaming and constructive environment.
• Demonstrated ability in 3D modeling, texturing, and/or animation.
• Knowledge of Photoshop for editing photos or textures; basic Linux command-line familiarity; and Windows Office Suite experience.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or collaboratively.
• DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

Nice to have

• 3+ years with industry-standard 3D modeling and animation software.
• 3+ years developing game or simulation content.
• Advanced proficiency with modeling tools such as Creator, Maya, 3D StudioMax, Blender, or MODO.
• Advanced proficiency with Photoshop, Perforce, and Substance Suite.
• Experience with Global Mapper, ArcGIS, character modeling, and rigging.
• Experience with MARI and PBR texturing.
