Lead Software Engineer (PLC/SCADA)

Location: Kolham, Netherlands; full-time role with a work-from-home arrangement available.

What you will do

• Lead the technical implementation of industrial and infrastructure projects with the project manager, defining the strategy for planned results.
• Monitor project execution, deviations, progress, technical scope, time, and budget.
• Lead Software Engineers during projects and support both technical delivery and employee guidance.
• Design, implement, and test software applications in-house and on-site.
• Draft specifications and user manuals, calculate engineering activities, and manage additional or reduced work in quotations.
• Represent Eekels in technical customer matters, maintain customer relationships, and initiate product and process improvements.

Requirements

• Completed HBO education in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or Industrial Automation.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of and experience with PLC/SCADA control systems in industrial applications.
• Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, and ABB.
• Experience with both technical project content and employee guidance.
• Creative, solution-oriented, proactive, and analytically skilled.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
