Embedded Systems Engineer Battery Management Systems (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop embedded software for automotive Battery Management Systems.
• Work with C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and Bash on GNU/Linux systems.
• Use embedded processors, development boards, ARM cross-compilation toolchains, and embedded software architectures.
• Work with build systems such as Yocto and OpenEmbedded and version control systems.
• Evaluate hardware, build board support packages, and work with kernels and images.
• Integrate system building blocks and contribute to innovative automotive system prototypes with multicultural teams and external partners.

Requirements

• Recent BSc, MSc, or PDEng graduate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technologies, or an equally relevant technical specialization.
• Experience in software engineering on embedded platforms.
• Interest and willingness to work with embedded processors, hardware evaluation boards, and new systems and languages.
• Curiosity about how individual building blocks contribute to a larger system.
• Programming experience with C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and/or Bash.
• Ability to integrate individual system building blocks.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience working in or with multicultural projects or teams and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Affinity with Battery Management Systems.
• Knowledge of electronics design for solving issues at the intermediate hardware-software layer.
• Familiarity with the semiconductor or automotive field.
