Applied AI Architect CRM Platforms (Salesforce)

Location: Remote within the United States; the posting also lists Colorado, USA.

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually, plus an annual incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate AI agents and assistants using retrieval, tool use, MCP connectors, APIs, workflows, and code.
• Discover Sales, Deal Management, Contracts, and Finance processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Build evaluation, safety checks, human review, production monitoring, cost controls, and ROI measurement for AI features.
• Own the Salesforce CRM and revenue-platform architecture, including data models, security, automation, integrations, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and custom CPQ.
• Design API and service integrations with SAP, DocuSign, HubSpot, Snowflake, and AWS-based tools while reducing technical debt.
• Run DevOps releases and end-to-end delivery through GitHub, Gearset, CI/CD, Jira, testing, user acceptance, cutover, and adoption; mentor engineers and administrators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience building enterprise software or custom CRM solutions.
• Production experience shipping AI or LLM features on business systems, including agents, retrieval, tool use, or workflow automation, plus daily hands-on use of AI development tools.
• Deep hands-on Salesforce experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex design patterns, Flow, the security model, and governor limits.
• Experience with Python or TypeScript, Apex, SQL, and quote-to-cash processes including CPQ, contracts, orders, billing, and renewals.
• Proven project or program leadership across multiple teams and working knowledge of Agile and Jira.
• Clear written and verbal English communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience safely exposing enterprise data to AI models in production.
• Experience with LLM evaluation and observability tooling.
• SAP or Snowflake integration experience.
