Focus on providing insights into adversary behavior, motivations, and contextualizing threats through finished intelligence reports.

Location: Remote (USA)

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct OSINT investigations into entities enabling state-sponsored and hacktivist adversaries.
• Identify and track national and transnational developments impacting state-sponsored and hacktivist adversaries.
• Compose short- and long-form finished intelligence reports.
• Respond to customer requests for information (RFIs).
• Contribute to briefings and collaborate with other analysts and experts.
• Strategize research prioritization efforts and intelligence gap identification.

Requirements

• High proficiency in reading Mandarin Chinese for open-source research.
• Strong understanding of Chinese government bureaucracies pertinent to cyber operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Chinese and other regional states' foreign and domestic policies.
• General understanding of Chinese and Asia-Pacific cyber adversaries.
• Excellent English writing skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to apply analytic best practices, critical thinking, and source evaluation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent time management skills and a high level of self-accountability.

Nice to have

• Professional competency in additional languages like Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience producing intelligence reports and handling ad-hoc RFIs.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in cybersecurity, intelligence studies, security studies, criminal justice, political science, or international relations, or equivalent military training.
• Experience contributing to Computer Network Operations (CNO) campaign tracking.
