Project Manager - Hydrogeologist (Water Resources)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA; hybrid in/out-of-office work with occasional travel

Salary: $100,000–$135,000 annually; bonuses and 401(k) contributions may apply.

What you will do

• Lead hydrogeologic and water resource projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate with public, private, and industrial clients; support proposals and scopes of work.
• Help clients define problems, evaluate options, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control for junior staff deliverables, including coaching and feedback.
• Support onboarding, collaboration, and initiatives across Arizona, the Southwest, and the United States.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in hydrogeology and/or water resources.
• Arizona Registered Professional Geologist certification, or the ability to obtain it promptly.
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with groundwater resource evaluations, high-capacity well siting, wellfield design, hydrogeologic investigations, managed aquifer recharge, and aquifer storage and recovery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with MODFLOW, Leapfrog Works, AqteSolv, ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, Python, and/or database software.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
