Software Engineer (Cybersecurity/SDN)

What you will do

• Build tools and develop features for distributed software-defined networking solutions.
• Implement inbound and outbound DDoS protection and automated configurations for IP traffic across backbone and datacenter network layers.
• Manage lifecycle upgrades, expand network flow telemetry, and develop API-driven control systems.
• Design reliable, scalable software, reusable code, libraries, tests, automation, testing frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and create developer documentation for developed tools.

Requirements

• Fluency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Go, Python, or C++.
• Knowledge and experience maintaining software running on Linux.
• Understanding of IP addressing, IP routing, commonly used protocols, and networking equipment.
• Basic understanding of DDoS mitigation methods and network flow telemetry.
• Experience building API-driven control systems for automated network configuration and attack containment.
