Senior Software Engineer (AI Security)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Chromium-based browser components in C++ across content, browser, core, compositor, Skia, and networking layers.
• Architect browser and agent-workflow controls for Prompt Injection detection and Shadow AI management.
• Apply networking and HTTP security expertise to browser isolation, proxy and gateway interception, and network-facing infrastructure.
• Build and integrate AI agent capabilities, MCP servers, and CDP-based functionality with the MARS and AI teams.
• Develop supporting tooling, detection microservices, and prototypes in Python or Rust.
• Deploy, operate, debug, and optimize high-scale workloads using AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Linux while collaborating with product, security, and AI engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong C++ systems programming skills.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including HTTP security, web protocols, and/or client-side security architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chromium layers including content, browser, core, compositor, Skia, and networking, or equivalent large-scale, high-performance C++ systems experience.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/LLM security and guardrails, including Prompt Injection defense, Shadow AI detection, intent classification, context-aware DLP/PII detection, and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Python or Rust, AI agents, Chrome DevTools Protocol, and MCP servers.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux.
