Senior Frontend Engineer (Engagement)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; fully remote

What you will do

• Develop and evolve the Engagement Framework frontend behind promotions, Missions & Tournaments, Free Rounds, and Jackpots.
• Build event-driven gameplay logic using state machines, lifecycle integrations, and real-time events connected to backend services.
• Maintain integration contracts and backward compatibility with the Client Framework across multiple games.
• Debug asynchronous events and state transitions, refactor toward reusable modules, and improve framework maintainability.
• Shape technical decisions with Gaming Core, game studios, backend, and Product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript building complex stateful applications, frameworks, or shared libraries.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous and event-driven systems, including state transitions, race conditions, and lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating frontends with backend APIs and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience debugging across services in a large codebase.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher (B2+); C1 preferred.
• Strong candidates with fewer years may apply if they can demonstrate complex frontend architecture or shared-framework experience.

Nice to have

• Interactive or game development experience, including HTML5 games, slots, or iGaming.
• Experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or similar rendering frameworks.
• Experience building SDKs or libraries used by multiple teams, including versioning and API contracts.
• Knowledge of WebSockets, SSE, message brokers, or distributed systems.
